De-authorize the National Forest Recreation Fee Demonstration Program

Recreational user fees and corporate sponsorships through cost-share agreements are two of the alternate funding sources the Agency has been actively pursuing. We are opposed to these alternative funding sources because of the inappropriate incentive they create for large-scale recreational development. User fees may also act as a step toward the privatization, commercialization and motorization of the National Forests.
