Subject: Wild Wilderness and Fee Demo
Recently, a post from Wild Wilderness was printed here in the landuse
forum. That group's executive director, someone who appears to be a
self-serving petty demogogue with no interest in develoing civilized
dialogue, maliciously maligned several groups with whom I am
personally familiar, including the American Recreation Coalition and
its member organizations and companies.
The American Motorcyclist Association is a proud charter member of
ARC. If you'd like to know more about the group and its members,
their web site is at http://www.funoutdoors.com/ The information
there on fee demo is very worthwhile, and you will find the list of
their members, people who meet regularly to keep themselves and their
members informed on real recreation issues, very enlightening.
Frankly, I would not waste my time trying to argue with the executive
director of Wild Wilderness, preferring instead to devote my time to
efforts with a chance of showing a return. I suggest you do the same.
If any of you would like to discuss this, please send me a private
post.
Best,
Eric J. Lundquist
