In alphabetical order, you can read the names of those who are making the decisions which will set this new policy on the environment. Notice how many are from extractive industries. Others represent the leadership of the Wise Use Movement. We will have our hands full with this aggressive crowd.

The "so-called" environmental organizations on this list are precisely the sort one would have expected Bush to select.
Here's a little additional info on a few of them --
Malcolm Wallop, founder of Frontiers of Freedom, is the author of "Privatizing the Planet "
Terry Anderson, of PERC is the author of "How and Why to Privatize Federal Lands "
NPCA, for example, is funded by
the very same people it is supposed to be watch-dogging (ie., Delaware
North -- the largest and most rapidly growing National Park
Concessionaire)
John Turner's The Conservation Fund, is made up almost exclusively of representatives from the extraction industry.
International Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies, is headed by Max Peterson, Chief of the USFS during the Reagan years.
Jim
Ridenour, was the Director of the National Park Service under Bush.
Ridenour, Bush Senior, John Turner and my good friends at the American
Recreation Coalition all go way back...
In fact, all of the names listed above can be directly linked to the American Recreation Coalition.
Frankly,
I'm extremely surprised that I did not find Derrick Crandall's name on
that list. But, there can be no doubt that Crandall is now in
pig-heaven and that the Department of Interior's transition team is the
team from hell.
